V&A and Pinterest partner to extend Chanel exhibition digitally

The image sharing platform has produced four short videos on its Chanel exhibition for the V&A’s profile

 

The V&A has announced a partnership with image-sharing platform Pinterest to extend its ‘Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto’ exhibition.

Produced by Pinterest, the V&A will host a series of four videos on their profile on the platform, showcasing the exhibition’s key themes, using footage filmed during the exhibition.

Sophie Rouse, Head of Integrated Marketing and Insight at the V&A said the partnership enable s it to bring its sold-out Gabrielle Chanel exhibition to a much wider audience, “making the inspirational and iconic CHANEL pieces in the exhibition accessible to all”.

Jamie McHale, Content Partnerships Lead at Pinterest UK called the partnership a “first of its kind collaboration” and part of the platform “widening the aperture in terms of the types of inspiring content people can find on the platform.”
