Recipe kits inspired by popular dishes at Birmingham Museums’ Edwardian Tearooms and Sarehole Mill Bakehouse are now available for delivery, including a Sarehole Bakehouse Pizza Box and Eggs Benedict as part of an Edwardian Tearooms Brunch Box.

Deliveries will be made on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to houses within a 15 mile radius of Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum.

“Sales in our restaurants and shops are one of the main ways we are able to fund the work we do as a charity, and while our doors are closed, we are no longer able to generate this income,” notes Alex Nicholson-Evans, commercial director at Birmingham Museums.

Anyone buying a recipe box will not only receive a tasty meal but will also be offering a lifeline “supporting Birmingham Museums during this challenging time”, he adds, with all sales contributing to the organisation’s work with local communities.

“We really miss being able to serve delicious meals to our visitors across our sites, so we are thrilled to be launching this new delivery service for the people of Birmingham,” Nicholson-Evans concludes.
