With the annual Museums + Heritage Show having moved its programme online for the first time this year, another first is on its way in the form of a series of talks, webinars and articles in the final quarter of 2020.

The idea has been conceived as a way to provide support and inspire the sector in the aftermath of Covid-19 lockdown disruption.

“There’s no doubt about it, 2020 continues to be a challenge for the sector so I am really delighted that the Show has been able to move online and provide a whole new programme of talks, round-tables and masterclasses in our first ever Autumn Series,” says Anna Preedy, director of Museums + Heritage Show.

“We hope these sessions will provide insight and expertise at a time when collaboration and support is so greatly needed.”

Consultation is now under way with the event’s partners, and organisers are also seeking input from industry professionals so that content can be tailored to areas in most need of in-depth analysis and discussion.
