We are seeking to appoint an experienced and organised individual to the new position of Education & Engagement Coordinator.

 

Marks Hall Estate has begun to deliver a new organisational growth strategy (2020-25) with a focus on environmental sustainability, public engagement, and education. The Education & Engagement Coordinator is a key role in the Marks Hall Estate team. The challenges of this new, exciting role include developing a high-quality public education and activities programme focused on nature-based learning, and on-site and virtual resources which connect people with nature and the history of the estate.

 

You will be responsible for developing and managing the school education programme, adult education services, site-wide interpretation, and online education offer. The post holder will manage the work of relevant projects consultants, support staff, contractors, and suppliers. This role ensures that every person who visits the estate or interacts with Marks Hall Estate online has access to useful, informative nature and heritage education resources.

 

The postholder will be a highly organised, experienced professional in the culture/heritage education sector with a passion for outdoor education and nature-based learning, who has demonstrable experience of working with schools and delivering education sessions for children and people of all ages. A creative self-starter with lots of energy and a positive outlook, you will be hands-on, and able to balance a range of priorities and a busy workload.
