More than 20 organisations supporting the museums and heritage sector will make their expertise available at this year’s Museums + Heritage Show.

At the very front to this year’s free, two-day event will be the Sector Support Hub, a dedicated space bringing together many of the sector’s key organisations and networks.

On hand throughout the London event will be professionals who are ready to listen and provide advice, guidance and support. Areas of expertise covered in the Sector Support Hub include employment and pay, volunteering, inclusion and equality, funding and marketing.

The organisations available to Museums + Heritage Show attendees are:

Arts Marketing Association
Association for Heritage Interpretation
Association of Independent Museums
ArtFund
Association for Cultural Enterprises
Audience Agency
Collections Trust
Fair Museum Jobs
Group for Education in Museums
GLAM Cares

The organisations will also be hosting informal networking sessions over two days, themed around a wealth of issues important to both individuals and the wider sector. The networking will take place in the ‘Ambience Networking Lounge’, which has been created in partnership with collaborative consultancy Stephen Spencer + Associates, which will be open to all attendees looking to form new connections and partnerships, or just to start up a conversation with the organisations supporting the sector.
