Coldplay will next week perform the only confirmed UK gig of their upcoming Everyday Life tour at the Natural History Museum. The site’s selection is a major coup for the South Kensington institution and delivers a major boost to the venue hire strand of its business.

“The Natural History Museum is one of London’s most iconic venues and its magnificent architecture and collections are the perfect backdrop for a wide variety of events,” a spokesperson for the museum told Advisor.

“We are delighted Coldplay has selected the Museum for this unique gig and we welcome interest in similar events. Our venue hire operation generates vital revenue for the Museum, funding both our world-leading science research and exhibitions and events for our visitors.”

All proceeds from the November 25th show will go to environmental charity ClientEarth, in support of its work harnessing the power of law to protect the planet and global populations.
