A new collection of clothing which the Natural History Museum says is “inspired by the works of naturalists Maria Sibylla Merian and Charles Darwin” has been launched by the institution in collaboration with Finisterre.

The Museum announced the partnership with B-Corp certified company Finisterre, which places ethics and environmentalism at the heart of its operations, a matter of days after unveiling plans to transform its South Kensington gardens into a ‘biodiversity hub’ for the nation.

Finisterre states that the partnership “draws on a shared vision of sustainability for the future of our planet”.

Underpinned by a ‘Past Knowledge, Inspiring the Future’ mantra, the Natural History Museum + Finisterre collection features items made using recycled and organic materials that are priced between £35 and £110.
