The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a creative and visionary leader to provide strategic level oversight of the charity’s financial performance and its people culture.
The role is responsible for finance, HR, IT, health & safety, security, business continuity and aspects of governance.
As a member of the Trust’s executive team reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers a unique and special opportunity to work with an ambitious and forward-looking team which is forging new plans for future development.
You will play a key role in devising and leading change, and will work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels in order to realise the full scale of the Trust’s considerable ambition.
This role is best suited to someone with experience of deploying financial, people and organisational assets in imaginative ways to achieve new models of growth and development.
You will be an energised and positive team player who is able to engage others, to work to specific goals to ‘get things done’ and to design and deliver longer-term projects.
This role is best suited to an inclusive leader, who is personable but also goal orientated. You will be comfortable working across a number of work streams, willing to get up to speed quickly and manage a busy workload.
