For the first time, the UK’s best visitor welcome is to be recognised at the Museums + Heritage Awards, and there is still a chance for both museums and heritage attractions to take the award home.

The debut ‘Visitor Welcome Award’ will celebrate the greatest visitor experience, with the most welcoming atmosphere in the UK.

Via an expert judging panel, the award will recognise the entrant which best demonstrates that it has listened to its visitors and innovated to provide the best welcome possible to all during 2021.
The award is among 16 which make up the ceremony, taking place in London in May 2022.
