The grade I listed Georgian country estate in Wiltshire boasts countless unique architectural features and is situated within parkland designed by renowned landscape architect Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.

A big issue for the site has long been controlling light levels in its Orangery & Sculpture Gallery due to the size of windows in the space. Finding a solution complete with an arch top to cover the entire area with one usable blind without fabric joins had proven impossible until CSC were approached.

The specialist firm, which has 50 years’ experience and is the only dedicated heritage blinds installer in the UK, offered a combination of a fixed panel with a sprung assisted roller blind to fix the problem.

This solution utilised CSC’s Vision Beige Fabric and produced a seamless blind while still offering the facility of lifting the window covering whenever necessary.

Although a tricky and time-consuming project, the result is heralded by CSC as a “fantastic success”, with a run of 11 blinds now installed throughout the site.
