From Iron Age hill forts to diverse wildlife and beautiful rolling highlands, the South Downs National Park is brimming with breathtaking scenery and interesting history. The South Downs National Park Authority were looking to highlight their core principles and enlighten visitors on the fascinating heritage of the South Downs. To help them achieve this we designed an interactive discovery exhibition for their centre in West Sussex.
Our inspiring interpretation displays, physical exhibits and hands-on interactives help visitors immerse themselves in the exhibition, creating a truly memorable and exciting learning experience. But how did we do this?
Look at the layers of coloured sediment to discover how the South Downs was sculpted over millions of years, create your own South Downs on the interactive rubbing table, and see if you can find The Long Man of Wilmington who’s hiding on the walls. But that’s not all! Slide your fingers over the rolling hills of the South Downs on a 3D map, learn fascinating facts about the local wildlife by pushing back panels, and arrange spinning boxes to journey back through time and discover notable moments in history relating to the surrounding area. There’s so much to do!
