Misa, who was born in New Zealand, begun his career in art handling and transportation 15 years ago after moving from Auckland to London.

He spent two years as Senior Project Manager at London-based Williams & Hill Forwarding and 12 years as Export Shipping Manager at Martinspeed.

His arrival at Crown Fine Art, the international fine arts logistics company, has coincided with the launch of a new high-tech storage facility, Art Central, which is the newest and closest to central London.

Misa said: “It’s an exciting time to be at Crown Fine Art. Art Central is an excellent new facility which is already attracting the big London galleries. It means we have a very strong offering for the market.

“We’ve already had positive feedback from clients about our viewing rooms due to the location and spec. We are so close to central London and we expect it to be booked out in 2016. It’s a facility we can be very proud of.”
