Syx Automations, market leader in leisure management software and smartcard production, has appointed Dimitri Degraeve as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Degraeve was head of product management, globally responsible for Elster’s smart metering and energy efficiency software & services.
Degraeve brings 17 years’ experience with high-end software solutions in Media, Entertainment & Energy markets. During his career, he worked in different roles dealing with strategy, requirements, software development, partners and go-to-market. He is used to working with distributed product teams in an international environment and likes to focus product development on what the market needs by using user-centric and agile methods.
As CTO of Syx Automations Degraeve will be responsible for further innovation and international expansion of the leisure management platform ReCreateX and Syx Graphics core project development. He will lead an international team consisting of more than 50 professionals in product development.

At the end of 2013, the private equity fund Sofindev III raised the capital of Syx Automations to support further international growth. By appointing Degraeve, Syx Automations will be able to focus on innovation and growth and continue to aspire international expansion.
