C’Art Art Transport Ltd are located centrally in the Midlands and provide secure climate and temperature-controlled Museum storage solutions, transport and installation services.

We operate a fleet of custom-built vehicles from small panel vans to 12 tonne trucks. Each vehicle is fitted with a fully insulated load compartment,tie rails floor to ceiling, courier cabs, air-ride suspension, temperature-control, tail lift, LED lighting, online vehicle tracking.

We also provide cranage and hiab solutions.

Our Professional Fine Art storage warehouses have been upgraded with the help of funding from the Cultural Recovery Fund and now offers greater resources to provide safe keeping for our National Arts and Heritage collections. From general art storage for crated artworks and sculptures to bespoke art racking for individual works including picture racking.

We offer a solution for all individual storage requirements, museums, galleries, art collectors and artists. All items stored with us are individually recorded, labelled and available on request when required.

• Museum decant into storage, due to refurbishment.
• Relocation of museum objects, removal of paintings and sculptures in churches and cathedrals.
• Working closely with conservation studios, our technical team manage the removal of large works for conservation and installation once the work has been completed.
• We also provide a disaster recovery service.
• Security is monitored 24/7. approved by the National Security Advisor to meet the security requirements of the Government Indemnity Scheme
• Bespoke crating and packing services are provided by experienced technicians.
• Our crates are ISPM 15 compliant and suitable for export. Tailored to your requirements, to assure your artworks are protected during transportation.
• We supply travel frames, commercial crates through to reusable flight cases and offer a wide selection of packing solutions to fit your requirements. We also supply flight cases and museum grade cases for hire.

We offer regular transport throughout the UK and Europe as a dedicated or consolidated part load service. Each trip is manned by two experienced driver technicians who are comprehensively fully trained to Museum Standards for art handling, technical services, packing and installation.

Our weekly trips include all UK regions North, East, South and West, Scotland and Ireland. We offer a shuttle service to London 2 – 3 times per week which is very cost-effective solution for transporting works from our Government Indemnity approved storage units in the Midlands to Museums and Galleries in London and nationwide.
