Bucklers Hard Road
D J Willrich is recognised as one of the UK’s leading forces in the audio-visual industry. We provide creative lighting, Audio Visual and multimedia solutions globally to achieve the ultimate technological experience, using sound, lighting, vision and interaction.
Our reputation is for taking on the overall technical role for new attractions, thereby ensuring that all technical aspects, right down to the back of house network, integrate properly to provide truly integrated systems and solutions.
The company started almost thirty years ago from a base at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu. DJW began as a consultancy company focusing initially on museums and theme parks. Today, our portfolio has expanded to include customised houses, hotels, museums, visitor attractions and even super yachts!
Projects undertaken involve AV consultancy; AV design; AV hardware supply, installation, programming and maintenance; with the emphasis being centred on meeting the needs of each individual project, through a friendly and flexible approach.
Our approach to any project is always to take a complete view of all technical aspects, as we believe that the technical aspects of any project should be totally integrated. In reality there is now less separation than ever between disciplines and in multi-media experiences of this nature it is important to have a multi-disciplined team. Our team is not just a group of multi-disciplined engineers, we all have a keen feel for the creative needs of a project and we frequently bring a lot more to a project by making sure we understand the design goals, and then we are able to offer additional benefits due to our knowledge of the equipment being used. Frequently, in detailed design meetings, we advise on equipment changes to offer better effect in the final attraction and the good news is that these ideas and changes often result in cost savings!
