Materialising Memories

soSouvenir are specialists in designing souvenirs with a Scandinavian aesthetic, and collaborate closely with museums and diverse organisations.

There is a real boom in the cultural domain with a growing interest in museums’ treasure troves of unique stories, and visitors at these venues thirst for knowledge of our cultural heritage. Fantastic new museums designed by cutting-edge architects are being established all over and contribute to generating more interest. New ways of communicating are employed to bring things to life, and consumers themselves have become increasingly critical as regards relevance and quality.

soSouvenir take the souvenir very seriously and can help you to communicate the essence of your story in souvenirs that are worth buying, treasuring, sharing and passing on. This is why we not only focus on your story, but we pay special attention to the ethos of your customers when we craft products, which are created in the strong Danish design tradition. We address demography, customer profiles and current and upcoming trends. We work with a fundamental social understanding, which enables us to produce results that quicken the heart: good souvenirs in a quintessential form.

Working together, we create products that tell a story that generates greater sales and promotes brand development and new ways of merchandising. We work for you in that dynamic field where design and advertising cross paths, when we unfold your story in the currents and trends of the time, constructing an entirely new cultural meeting with souvenirs of an unprecedented quality. And we always have an eye to making products that are fun, off-beat, eye-catching and of course unique.

And us? We are neither too grand for the small nor too small for the grand! In fact we see it as our goal to navigate freely in the ocean of specialised groups, cultural institutions, organisations and commercial movers. Large orders or small, we are past masters at juggling, and everyone gets the same attentive service.

“We have commissioned various products from soSouvenir for the opening of the new museum shop at The Museum of Copenhagen. We received personal and thoroughly professional advice from them, which was particularly valuable and resulted in us creating a good basic collection for the shop. Working together, we have developed unique products of high quality at prices that are affordable by all guests of the museum. soSouvenir provide fantastic service; they are good sparring partners and provide beautiful products of high quality. I give them my warmest recommendation.”

“Our museum shop in Seebüll specialises in classical items connected with the artist Emil Nolde. In collaboration with Anne and Charlotte from soSouvenir, we have expanded the range with a varied and inspiring selection of new products that are suitable for all age-groups.

Anne and Charlotte from soSouvenir are always ready to make valuable suggestions concerning our plans for new products and design. Both of them provide fantastic service with consistent follow-up and very quick response. I look forward to working with them as much as possible in the future.”

“Since 2015, Den Gamle By (The Old Town in Aarhus) has had a constructive and creative collaboration with soSouvenir on a number of articles with a specific ‘Den Gamle By profile’. We experience soSouvenir as very attentive people to work with, who manage to come up with solutions of high quality to the assignments we give them. They steer the process with a very sure hand from the earliest drafts to the delivery of the finished products, and they give fine input all along the way with good ideas and alternative possibilities. We sell these products at the museum, and the new collection has without a doubt contributed to raising the level in Den Gamle By’s shop.”
