Studio MB is a multi-award winning, UK based, exhibition and interpretive design agency working with national museums and heritage attractions the length of the UK, as well as internationally in the Middle East and India.

Founded in January 2004, Studio MB has grown year on year in reputation and in financial strength. We have built a core team of senior interpretive exhibition designers, graphic designers and project management professionals, around which we have gathered a flexible resource of interpretation specialists, curators, audiovisual designers and engineers, lighting designers, illustrators and artworkers to meet the unique challenges that each and every project presents.

Our track record includes exhibitions and visitor experiences for the recently completed The D-Day Story in Portsmouth, Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester,  Coventry Transport Museum, York Army Museum, as well as galleries or exhibitions for Titanic Belfast, National Museums of Scotland, Royal Armouries, Royal Museums Greenwich, Robert Burns Birthplace Museum and Durham Cathedral. Since 2013, Studio MB has been working on the Al-Salam Palace Museum in Kuwait, delivering designs for over 15,000m2 of exhibitions in a restored former Royal Palace.

Studio MB was recently named the 2018 winner of the SBID International Design Excellence Awards for our work with Triumph Motorcycles, and also received the Design Grand Prix Award for Best Overall Design at the Scottish Design Awards.

As exhibition and interpretive designers, Studio MB understand effective interpretive communication starts by understanding the subject, telling the stories of the collections and assets to be exhibited, establishing the messages to be communicated, the clients overall objectives and most importantly, the audience and the potential rewards and memorable experiences that could be delivered.

In addition to our museum and visitor experience profile, we also design and create brand experiences for many leading global brands. It is this unique track record and cross-fertilisation of ideas, skills and practices that enable us to fulfill our objective to truly astonish your visitors.

“We had very high hopes for the new Triumph Factory Visitor Experience. The result not only exceeds the expectations set, but delivers a truly engaging and immersive experience that can be comfortably considered one of the very best of its kind. The passion and collaboration we had across the team, particularly with our lead creative agency Studio MB, on the design, content, technology and project management has been fundamental to the success of this great new British, motorcycling and engineering visitor experience”
