Income Generation in Museums – creating a better visitor experience while raising revenues

Revenue streams in museums are becoming more varied and versatile these days. Not only are they vital sources of income, with profits being ploughed back into the running of the museum and care of its collections, they also add to the visitor experience and promote the organisations’ brand.

Here we provide four case studies including Levy Restaurants transformation of three Imperial War Museum venues, CADS Ltd work on an EPOS system for the volunteer-run Spitfire and Hurricane Museum in Kent, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery as an event space and a seasonal pop-up shop at the Museum of London.
