Brighton & Hove Museums has announced that the Royal Pavilion is launching a licensing program for its designs.
The Grade I listed former royal residence features 19th century interior design, primarily by Frederick Crace and decorative painter Robert Jones, much of which is influenced by both Chinese and Indian fashion of the era.
A new range of products will feature elements of the Pavilion’s regal designs, including textiles and home décor, from the Pavillion’s licensed property.
Charlie McKenzie, Head of Income Development said: “We are delighted to be able to bring the colour, luxury and joy of The Royal Pavilion to the licensing world.
“Created by the finest craftsmen of the day, the glorious designs and spectacular royal vision will be suitable for many products such as gifts, textiles, stationery and home décor.”
Brighton & Hove Museums said it will soon announce further details of commercial plans for Pavilion designs soon.
